Misdirection.  This is the current theme of offensive football at all levels.  Get the defense looking or leaning one way and take the football in a completely different path.

Who can forget the “Statue of Liberty” play that allowed an upstart Boise State team to beat the powerful University of Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl?  The entire OU defense went one way as the Boise State runner was crossing the goal line in another. Continue reading →
